Stealth beast is when one wears brands that are recognizable to us board members but not to the outside world (no obvious branding) i.e Loopwheeler, EG, PBJ, etc...First coined by DDML, i believe. It's very similar the stealth wealth.

Hypebeasting is a Niketalk term, where everything you wear is recognizable and known to be rare and name brand or expensive or all the above. The louder obnoxious younger brother of Stealth beast.

These terms don't just apply to denimheads.

i think this can be applied to denimistas:

hype: evisu w/ giant gulls; red monkey
stealth: eternals/apc
hate: gap/j. crew

Can't forget the bape camo and baby milo gear and rare nikes; essential pieces for the hypebeast look.

Stripebeast - pinstripe suit + striped shirt (bonus points if the tie has stripes)

Gripebeast - somebody who's head is so high in the bloody clouds that they are oblivious to individuals' socio-economic condition, tastes and preferences for comfort vs. style vs. affordability that they complain about everybody else who doesn't dress the same way they do, or can't afford what they are wearing (see: Ask A Gay Man).

^ someone here coined that term to describe wearing brands that are regarded with hatred on fashion boards that prominently feature the letters S and F; the term seems to be applied to those persons that wear the hated brands well (e.g. kronik)
