Up for sale is a beautiful pair of opera pumps made in England, pretty sure by by Crockett & Jones, for Ralph Lauren’s luxury line, Ralph Lauren Purple Label.

Classic evening shoe styling with calf leather uppers, grosgrain trim and bows atop the toe, slim leather soles, round toe, short vamp

Personally I much prefer the muted look of calf over patent leather for evening shoes, and if these fit a bit better I’d definitely be hanging onto them. Well I also don’t really need evening wear all...

These could be Edward Green. I've never seen the C&J shoes for RL have the UK/US half size differential written on the shoe.
