Sneaker Advice

Hi everyone,

I am looking for low profile and comfortable sneakers that can be worn in an office setting. I am in IT (System Administrator), so its not a customer facing position but the shoes need to be office appropriate. The shoes will mostly be worn with chinos and dress shirt.

I am looking for a pair that is low profile, comfortable and long lasting. It would be great if I can find something under $100 but I don't mind going up-to $200 if the value is there (meaning, they are long lasting). Ideally, there should be no logos on the shoes, or at least not in contrasting colors as the goal is to keep things low key.

Currently, I have a pair of Nike indoor soccer shoes that I love but look very out of place in the office.

Check out the leather sneakers from Cole Haan they seem to tick your boxes and are really comfortable.

Adidas Stan Smith?

Both Cole Haan and Adidas are on my radar.
But I guess my concern is from a durability side. My current shoes have been worn for about 9 months and the sole is starting to wear thin. I wonder how long something like Cole Haan and Adidas Stan Smith will last.
