Just got these yesterday. I really love this make up:

I'm already on the second set of laces :) anybody know how to prevent tearing? I've seen suggestions to file the inside of the speed hook. Does that actually work?

Don't tighten the laces when they are in the hooks, do it before and just lay them around the hooks.

There is a film here somewhere showing how to do it....

Thanks, going to try that today. Maybe I was lacing them too tight around the hooks.

Normal style button boot (on the 363):

EDIT: my mistake, I thought you guys were doing a Balmoral boot but it was a Button Boot.

I am not on this project but I would suggest that you guys consider Bonafe Millerighe soles instead of Dainite. Millerighe soles seem to provide more traction than Dainite.

Leaves, I am interested but first

1. What type of lasts does Bonafe uses for its chelsea boots? What is the last on the pictured boot?
I am of opinion that 2102 last would be best suited for Chelsea boot. What would Bonafe recommend?

2. I am interested in the model above. What is the price for standard chelsea boot?

3. Yes I am interested in a wholecut boot too and I would like to know the upcharge for it.

I am surprised that you have not brought Bonafe chelsea boots for your store yet.

@Leaves

I did and if you can find what lasts bonafe uses for Chelsea boots that would be great too.

You can get any last you want. I'm making a pair for myself on the 74945 last in suede. Placing the order as soon as I know if they can do a seamless Chelsea. It won't be a full seamless style though, there will still be a seem at the heel.
