That Burnham is going to be insane good.

Would it be equally insane to partake, even if I'm already committed for 3 GG MTOs as is? :fu:

Seems normal to me. But then, I'm committed to two G&G MTOs right now (plus another MTO) and soooo close to pulling the trigger on the black Arran, so I might not be a good one to listen to ...

I know I'm interrupting the G&G and EG MTO train, but I'm only 25 so its out of my budget. I'm looking to grab a pair of Carminas. I'm a 9D in the AE 333 last, and 9D in the 5 last (65 last), and 8.5E in Shell Dundees. I'm assuming I'd be fine for anything other than Simpson last. While the 333 last is narrow, it is borderline for me already.

Currently, I have black captoe (PA) and brown semi-brogue (Rutledge) so I'm looking to fill a gap. I'm thinking of:

1. Carmina Wingtips - I own nothing like a wingtip. It may be a nice addition.

2. Carmina half-brogue - I own no medallion captoe. But i do have a semi-brogue.

They're both brown, which I already have, but the only burgundy Carmina is another captoe, which may be redundant in my rotation.

I guess I'd like some of the experts opinions. I really want to buy from Skoak, due to the customer service and his interaction on the forums. Seems like a great place/guy.

EDIT: I assume I'd be an 8UK?

You will soon realize having enough brown shoes will be a problem. If you are choosing I would say the wing tips.

God, I really want to join that Burnham GMTO, just missing two details for me:

Wensum sole
Hayes medallion

Gorgeous color, though. Great pick!

You should MTO that pair while prices are low. Should be beautiful boots and unique - extra fee won't be missed.

We all have different tastes but for me the beauty of Burnham is in simplicity. I feel that medallion would be distraction.

A handsome pair of inca. I was eyeing this for a while but ended up with wingtips.

If you can share picture of that inca in the wild?

It hasn't ventured off the carpet yet. Too salty, snowy, and dirty out where I live for a maiden voyage of such nice shoes. But in good time (hopefully soon), certainly.

I'm also 9D on 5 last. I went 8 UK on Carmina Rain and Detroit last and that worked well for me. But email the guys at SkoAB when you're ready to order. They've always been really patient with me when I ask about sizing. I'd go wingtip personally but if you're looking for something a bit more conservative maybe perforated cap toe?

What is the turnaround time on the EG MTO's? Just paid for my Nevis make up, wondering if I place a few more orders how long I have to slowly mention them to the wife.

I would bank on about 6 months.
