Oh this is great, another place to spend my money. I'd heard of Skoaktiebolaget before but never pursued looking into it. I find this thread and all the same Alden/Viberg/EP guys are all on here as well. I think I have @bkotsko to thank for this for his cross-post on EP.

Not bad, a little less than the cordovan up charge. So about 10,440 SEK (about $1387) exluding VAT, without trees? It might be a tough GMTO sell i suppose... :(

On the other hand, an Arran GMTO in a standard leather would be about 7440 SEK (about $988) excluding VAT, without trees (hope my numbers are correct @Leaves ). That is quite reasonable for a GMTO.

I am in at around this price for lizard MH71 Arran. I don't know if anyone else would pay this much. Also in for your brown hatch grain idea, again assuming Mh71

I actually really like the MH71 last, so i would be ok with any make-up on that last. We will see how the Arran GMTO pans out, i am flexible on this one, as i plan to get two Chukkas next year...

With that post, I was mainly referring to the coming spring season.

Incoming styles that will be available from Friday:

We are also launching three new Edward Green styles within a few days:
  • Edward Green Shannon VIII in Dark Oak
  • Edward Green Laughton in Nightshade
  • Edward Green Newbury in Black calf

....and last but not least some new Bonafé styles, also within the next week or so:

  • Enzo Bonafé Norvegese Wingtip Derby in Etrusco Calf (new style, limited)
  • Enzo Bonafé Norvegese Wingtip Derby in Black Calf (new style, limited)
  • Enzo Bonafé Norvegese plain toe Derby in Castagna Betis Calf (new style, limited)
  • Enzo Bonafé Monkey Boot in Melezze Calf (very dark brown calf)

...so plenty of reasons to stay tuned to this page and our website.

Does carmina make anything like the semi broque without the medallion on the toe? I am wanting to order the G&G st. James in oak but would like to see if carmina has something similar.

Thanks, ryden.  Wow, so this is another one of those competitive threads, huh?  Are there any that aren't?

No, actually not at all. Was just busting your ballz. Now if it were the NMWA thread it might be a different story...

Once you spend some time on this thread and see the level of service and professionalism the guys are Skoak provide you won't want to shop anywhere else

Don't know if Edward Green changes their sizing

I am a Carmina Detroit UK8.5 Cordovan Blucher. Initially snug fit, well wear after breaking in

Also a Enzo Bonafe UK8.5 Etrusco Wholecut in 946 last, quite well snug fit.

Recently acquired a UK9E EG 888 oxford through MTO, no break in required, slight heel slip

Just FYI.
