Gents, any Bonafe 74945 last pictures in the wild?
If you look at that post I did earlier today comparing EB's loden to Carmina's, that's the 74945 last. It's a tremendous last - chiseled but not too chiseled, and ridiculously comfortable. The only issue, which I think is sort of an EB-wide thing, is that it is pretty high on the instep. I needed a insert to make it work, but it fits beautifully with the insert (and it's probably better for my feet with the insert anyway).

So questions or you, on same last 74945 I have button boots mto but they are half size too big. Would you say putting insert would work or should I take a loss & move on?

So my normal Rain size fit me well in the 74945 in all areas except the instep, and the insert didn't really affect width or length for me. So I'd be hesitant to suggest an insert would solve the 0.5 size too big issue for you. I might have gotten away without the insert, it's just the lacing on the top would have been very sloppy. The toe width and heel were perfect out of the box. You can always get an insert and see if it works - mine was like $12.

Inserts are comparatively cheap so why not get a pair and try them out?

If the length is too long, an insert won't really help. It may make the shoe feel tighter, but they'll still be 1/2 size too long.

I keep marketing this...

I would love to get a Rain or Forest last, brown or dark brown suede loafer (not full strap/not split toe) that could be a OneShoe option, particularly to be dressed up or dressed down when traveling. I don't want anything too sleek, just classic. Something along the lines of the Edward Green Picadilly

Anyone interested in something like this?

I know the question has been asked to death, but would the Bonafe chukka MTO in the 74945 last fit similar to the Oscar last boot fit?

I posted about this in the Bonafe GMTO thread in the GMTO forum but thought I should expand beyond that. Is there any interest in doing a group order of this shoe? If I remember correctly, this was on the 946 last, Betis Castagna, 270° chained Norgevese stitching. I should have gotten a pair when SkoAB had them, but now is the time to make up for my error.
