I guess I am biased as I am around the Brooklyn hipsters way too often to not associate skinny jeans with their ilk.
For me, I think if you are over 25 you should be wearing slim cut straight legged jeans. In my opinion, if you dont care about being percieved as a child then go ahead and wear em.

No, thats why I said "for me" as in my opinion. Im sure other peoples opinions slant towards that anything other than carhartt work pants and a flannel shirt are just plain silly.

"my opinion is that everyone should dress the way i do"

no **** it's your opinion; stating that it is "MY OPINION" doesn't make your subjective opinion any less marsupialed (in my subjective opinion, of course)

I do not want everyone to dress the way I do because then everyone would look the same. The OP asked for people's opinions and I gave it. You making some blanket statement based on what I said is no less 'marsupialed'. But I guess I shouldn't expect anything less on an internet forum

I think they create what usually would be considered an unattractive silhouette for a man, giving him ***** hips. So I think you need tiny little hips to pull these off. Even if you have a 29 inch waist, you can still have wider hip bones and the silhouette will be grody. And you almost need to have been treated like a high quality veal---confined for much of your life so that you don't create any unwanted muscle tissue in your thighs.

In other words, way more men wear them than should. It's like when all the chubby ladies were wearing low rise jeans or shorts and shirts bearing their midriffs just because Britney and other hot girls were doing it.

But isnt that the same with almost any type of fashion trend? People wearing it because others are instead of what fits their frame? I think the spandex leggings w/ the short skirt is far more abused than anything else.

I'm small and weak on the bottom AND TOP. So your argument is invalid, because I'm awesomely proportioned
