Should I or shouldn't I buy... (clothing item)?

Just picked up the above pair of Tecovas. I do like them but I'm not use to wearing boots this tall so that's throwing me off a bit. This is more of a should I keep- below are some pants I wear often. What do you all think?

Keep but if you want a shorter shaft, go with the sidezip version. Heel isn't as good, but it's more comfortable IMO

I vote to keep if you have the right outerwear for them. I got used to the tall heel pretty quickly, but find that cowboy boots go better with some jackets than others.

I don't mind the heel at all as I have some other boots that have a similar one. Agreed with you on the outerwear part- I was actually just looking at your ranch dressing article and it gave me a lot of inspiration!

I’ve been thinking about getting something in this style, and think I prefer corduroy to more traditional denim. Does anyone have experience with A Vontade? I’ve tried them once or twice, but mostly just remember it fitting a bit small. The measurements on this seem ok, apart from coming up quite short, but that’s just the style and something I’d worry about on any iteration.

Thoughts?

I'd say Cafe looks to be the most versatile of the three. I have a pair of chambords in that color and they go with everything
