Lester I like the pants but not really worn like that. I think it needs hightops. Did you buy the ricks? Wear em with that and take off that scarf and I'm into it.

Haven't worn a watch in years and the ones I want are way out of my budget atm. Thinking about this Uniform Wares 203 series. I guess from a worksmanship POV it's not worth the price? But I like the minimalism....

Thanks for input. Okay I am keeping the pants and will mess around with how to wear them. I like them with those boots but will try them with hightops and see how that turns out. The pants are very luxe although this is no vis in the photo. I have those white Margiela moonboot hightops, that might be a good match.

atm I am wearing the moonboots with some techno parachute pants I have from the same designer as the pants...might give those a try with the leather in that photo and see how it turns out.

I am just trying a few new things to keep it interesting. Why not.

That Uniform Wares watch doesn't look dated at all. I had one for a hot second and thought they were really nice looking, colors were really rich. However, no idea about tech specs and really, you're mostly prolly paying for the looks

Amathew, I had gotten the impression you were redoing your wardrobe and stuff you've posted here before is not exactly the same aestethic as that one. Maybe get a better sense of what direction you want to go in before dropping serious cash on it? :)

Ah yes, good point.
I guess I was going for basic "minimalist" look of jeans, chinos, tshirts, sneakers, basic button downs, and knitwear/cardigans with LOTS of black, white, and navy pieces.
Based on that, I guess a "basic" sweater or leather jacket in black would work much better than what I posted.

Sounds good, but to be on the safe side and don't buy stuff you'll later regret, it'll probably be better for you to first buy more basic pieces (like the ones you mentioned) and make sure you've got fit and proportions right

If you're looking for something that'd fill a similar purpose as that RO, and you don't already have a plain grey crewneck sweatshirt, get one. Mine is easily the most used piece in my wardrobe (except my black jeans maybe) and it is simpy put, very versatile.
