Shoe heel and sole dressing

I've been using Fiebings Heel and Sole Dressing in Black and Brown and i felt that the finish comes off a little too shiny and plastic.

Does anyone else have this problem? I'm curious to know what you guys use.

Feibings makes two products, one is shiny, the other not. I can't remember the name of the second product but my cobbler has it.

Kiwi wax polish

Put some wax over the dressing and that will tone it down and increase your shoe protection.
