Hi guys,

I'm considering purchasing either the Shinola Leather Navigator Briefcase vs the Carl Friedrik Palissy Briefcase but need your help.

Based on research between the two.

Shinola: Good quality leather although does not have a long standing name to the brand. I don't care about brand prestige.

Carl Friedfrik: Good quality as well but appears to have some quality control issues and the price has gone up significantly in the past two years to the point that it's practically the same as the Shinola.

I was originally going to go with the Carl Friedfrik but after looking further, it seems most reviews on youtube are paid, the price when the reviews were made was much lower than the Shinola, and CF seems to have quality control issues.

Thanks guys.
