Turn them inside out and soak them in hot water for 30 minutes, take then right out of the water and throw them (still inside out) into the dryer on HIGH for 40 minutes till they're completely dry. That'll do the trick and won't damage the jeans.

how can kiya recommend Real Japan Blues, Iron Heart, and Flat Head as brands that won't kill budgets? they're the most expensive brands he offers. seems out of touch with average joes who don't live in sf or nyc.

if you haven't noticed, SE doesn't necessarily cater to the "average joes" who think that 70 bucks is a lot for a pair of Levis or some ****

The Japanese denim will last longer and look better the 70 dollar jeans also. If you buy one pair of Flat Heads for 300 and keep them 2 years, you could possibly turn around and sell them for 70-80 bucks at that point. If you buy a pair of average joe jeans each year at 70 dollars a pop, thats a 140 dollar investment that you didn't even really want.

Flat Heads = 110$-120$ a year investment
Other Jean = 70$ a year investment

Just another way to look at it....

and of course this is all hypothetical and there are other things to factor in....so please don't critique this estimate ; )

i dont like to think so much about jeans. i just find ones that fit really well and say "**** you" to everyone that tells me im dumb for spending lots of money on them

You're not serious, right?
What we sell "killing budgets" wholly depends on your income and your willingness to spend the money that you DO have. And when did we ever say our products were inexpensive, they're a luxury item that is built better than any other item in it's class, and we stand behind that. The entire thing about the price is out of left field though..

Yup, the fall lines are coming out every few days, some stuff doesn't even end up online, if you're in the area come by because we're always getting flannels that are as heavy as the one you own.
