I'm looking for a really good pair of brogues, preferably in burgundy, from one of the English makers. Apparently, Grenson have a model called the Marlborough in their Masterpiece lineup, but not a single online seller shows that shoe for sale. Does anyone know where I might find it? The C&J Handgrade brogue, the Clifford, is available only in a light tan. In the Footmaster line, Grenson has the Bath, although not in burgundy (its in a medium reddish-brown that they describe as "chestnut". If I have to drop down to a bench grade shoe--either in Grenson or C&J--how much drop-off in quality will I notice? Thanks for any suggestions.
