Scabal suit prices

My tailor in NYC currently sent me a swatch of a Scabal cloth. He was advertising that he negotiated a deal that he was able to sell these custom-made suits for $1,395 and the normally prices for over $2,000. Is this much of a deal and do they normally go over 2,000?

Depends on the cloth and type of suit. In Germany Scabal RTW suits are usually around EUR 1,300 or more but there are occasionally offers for Scabal MTM 2 piece suits starting at between EUR 850 to 900, but only with a limited choice of cloth (from one book, up to 120 s). If you want other Scabal cloth not included in the offer, the price jumps dramatically.
