Repairing Grosgrain Lapel Facings?

I recently acquired a vintage dress coat on eBay. It fits me remarkably well but there is some wear and tear on the lapel facings. It's not dramatically noticeable and I might just go ahead and wear it but being, as I am, slightly OCD about these things I wonder whether any of you gents could clue me on as to whether this can be repaired, and if so by whom and how much it might cost. I have a surprisingly (given that she's a little Chinese lady running a shop in a mediocre part of town) skillful alterations tailor that I regularly use but she doesn't make clothes so I dont know that she'd have the material on hand to do something like this, which likely means if I use her I'll have to provide it myself.

Here's a picture of the coat's overall appearance from the front:

And here's a closeup of the left lapel, where the damage is most noticeable when it's being worn:

If you peel back the right lapel you can clearly see more damage of what appears to be the same type:

EDIT: I have corrected the pictures to show as embedded images, not attachments. Apologies for the original formatting.
