I purchased a Nomos True Blue Worldtimer in February of this year. At right about a month of use, I dropped the watch and the face popped off. I sent it to the shop in Florida that I bought it from. They received the watch on March 24. Since the shop is a certified Nomos dealer, they sent it to the factory in Germany for repair.
It is now June 30 and I still don't have the watch back, however I hear it is coming within 2 weeks.
Is this turn around time normal on a watch repair? I've never had issues with watches in that past so don't have any situation to compare this to.
I guess beyond that question, if a repair takes 3 months with a certified dealer, is it really worth the extra $$$ to use the dealer? I think if I had purchased on gray market, I would have the watch back by now.
Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks.
