I want to remove the lining in my suit trousers. Is there any problem if i just cut it out around the edge? I'd like to not spend money on this.

I've removed linings many times. Cut as close to edge as possible without hitting the seam.

Seems like a reasonable thing to do to me. Why pay for something so simple. I can't see any complications arising from trimming it yourself. But then what do i know.

Get hold of a pair of pinking shears (zigzag blade). That prevents the cut edge from fraying.

have done this a few times, just be careful cut as close to the seam as you can.
the trick is to go slowly.
