Recommended sock brands--(Fort Belvedere?)

There was a brand for very fancy socks, even more expensive to than Gallo. Website is terrible though. http://williamabraham.com/ Can even get Viccuna socks, which is apparently durable so I heard, which is odd considering how soft it is.

Have bought recently from Boardroom Socks. Made in USA; the wool OTC socks seem well made. Reasonably priced.

I second Boardroom. Their wool socks (specifically ribbed) held up well. Sadly, they have limited selection. Notably, no light grey.

I will never order Viccel again. I bought eight pair of OTC. All were different length. One was all the way to the center of my knee, one was proper, and six were short by varying degree (all six simply bunched around my ankle).

Southern Scholar. Great socks, almost too much to choose from.

I’ll second southern scholar. Great options and fair pricing. I also do their sock of the month club and haven’t really worried about purchasing socks since. Only real negative I think is warmer or blends as I don’t think they have any in wool or cashmere or silk blends.

I asked them about light grey a few months ago—they said it depends on availability of yarn and that they didn’t have any immediate plans. However, they just released a cream color that I’d recommend.
