Need a place that'll be open during the month of August, as would like to have the trousers on hand by month-end.

Any suggestions? Ned shuts down for a few weeks.

Ercole makes awesome trousers. I would not call them cheap, but the price is fair. I gather he charges different prices to people who see him in Manhattan v. Brooklyn. I've been told that I am overpaying but the fit is so good I don't really care.

^ Just saw this

Credit given where it is deserved. Ercole (Frank) has my recommendation too. I picked him over Ambrosi and was probably one of the best tailoring decisions (esp. given my geographic vicinity to him) I made.

If you like SR/American classic style full cut pants then he is brilliant. However, to get there in terms of fit you have to be patient with him. He is really nice to work with and the best part is his willingness to correct mistakes if they are present.

PM me if you need more info

Regards

P.S Just to be clear I only deal with Frank not his father Ercole. I perfer Brooklyn location (even though it is so out of way) because he can make minor changes on the spot

Useless without price points.

FWIW I will be going Mr. Ned later this month. Supposedly ranges from $250-$350 or so.

Tutee is an arch-pantophile, and if Ercole can make him what he likes, I'm not sure one could do better except ornamentally.

The oft-Inner-Circle-maligned NY Ranger is an Ercoles client, and they do good work for him.

Make sure that your driver has GPS and a TASER, though.

I wonder if this is the sort of thing where there are two inner circles, each thinking that it is secretly the real inner circle, and the other one is positively fraudulent. Either way, there would have to be two such circles, since Manton and Voxy are sworn blood rivals and couldn't reasonably be expected to occupy the same circle.

It's too bad one can't DT single posts, sort of like the line item veto.

I second Frank...his patience with me should give him bonus kudos. I think he sees me more than his wife and kids, but thats the price you pay when your clients are in the neighborhood.

Tomorrow is his last day for two weeks though, as he is on vacation. He will be in the Brooklyn location tomorrow. 13th Avenue between Bay Ridge Pkway (75th St) and 74th. Make sure you stop at A&A Produce around the corner on 74th for fresh squeezed OJ and Gold Star Bakery (next door to Frank) for cookies and fresh baked Neapolitan bread.

PM me if you need more info.
