Update July 16: This staple charcoal suit is now among of the last of its kind. As of fall 2014, Polo Ralph Lauren suits are no longer made by Corneliani Italy. Instead, they will be made by Hickey Freeman. Initial reviews of the Hickey suits have been mixed to poor. See here for more information: http://www.styleforum.net/t/390353/...-now-made-by-hickey-freeman/0_50#post_7123552

Moral of the story: get this Corneliani-made suit while you can. It will be a piece of history very soon.

This is a super nice staple, especially for somebody taller. I notice that the trouser inseams are unhemmed at a better than a generous 39", that's enough for even a tall bloke to get big, beefy 2" cuffs. And, yes, I know they are flat fronts - get the cuffs anyway.

I'm really surprised this is still here, it's a super price.

I'll vouch for JRD being a great seller. Bought from him a couple times before and have always been happy.

Is this a better quality than a SuitSupply suit? I'm not familiar with either but I'm very tempted between the two.

^ It is on par with Suit Supply in terms of construction. Both Polo by Corneliani and Suit Supply suits are half-canvassed

However, in terms of fabric, I always have to give the benefit to Polo, which picks incredible soft fabrics that drape really well. This suit is no exception. Great four season, workhorse fabric with a soft hand. I've handled Suit Supply suits in store, and the fabrics seem a bit cheap.

Also, there is the fact that Polo suits are made in Italy. Suit Supply is made in China.

I would also add that RL Polo probably has better quality control. I've noticed some uneven shoulder construction on Suit Supply suiting.
