I'm envious of gdl's wardrobe (both MC + SW&D/ watches/ etc).

Unfortunately my wardrobe is only a reflection of how old I am, i.e. how long I've been working and spending too much money on stuff.

some siki im pieces, like those pants, make more sense in person. the fabrics are really nice, and if you've seen how siki wears his stuff it all comes together

edit: also, went to a cinco de mayo lobster boil over the weekend (yes, a little incongruent). spilled butter on my favorite jeans, shirt got sprayed with lobster when someone cracked theirs open, and beer got spilled on my jacket. oh, and food sucked and so did the weather. it took a lot of beer to bring my mood up, but I persevered.

think of how the average american dresses. think of how the average asian dresses. the popularity of men's fashion is relatively recent in america... would say the trend in asia probably started in japan and became popular in the rest of the continent once japanese cultural exports became popular. now it's korea's time. **** yeah cultural imperialism

Japanese fashion is miles ahead of everyone else imo, don't know why but I really like their designs in general, sort of minimalistic, abstract and understated, just the right amount too.
