1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

on the other hand, more time to wear monochrome clothes before I have to surrender them and wear madras and critter patterns instead

That would be disappointing, one of my favorites Por Vocacao also wont be carrying Margiela (or anything else as I think this is their last season)

I think they said their MMM drop was coming in late March... perhaps it has been delayed a bit.

    LONDON!!

I don't have any good SWD recommendations (and I would avoid Primark's, it's all really cheap H&M level stuff from what I could tell, but maybe you'll find a couple odd items you like), but Drake's is a good and obvious MC stop to make. Jermyn street for shirts, but again this is more of an MC thing. Nothing is cheap in London...

Food-wise, I would say eat in pubs but try to find the nicer ones that serve Fuller's beer and the food will generally be better at those. Go to Brick Lane for a curry; there are a bunch of places up and down the street with dudes out front who will offer you deals. As far as I could tell, the food is all about equivalent, so try to get some extras thrown in like a bottle of wine or whatever and go with whoever gives you a deal.

ice age art at the british museum is stunning, if that appeals.

The Anchor & Hope is a good pub for food not very far away, you can't book though you just have to show up and wait.

pretty obvious but you should def check out the mens' stuff at liberty, i think a lot of it would appeal to you.

Don't miss Dover Street Market. Browns is good. Selfridges. Those are the big names. Stuff is expensive in the UK though.
