I was able to get a hold of another new (w/tags) authentic Ralph Lauren Black drop 7 suit made from a beautifully soft solid midnight navy wool in the most difficult to find size of 38r. This suit is nearly identical to the wool serge suit I had listed previously.
It is a fully canvassed suit made in Italy by Caruso with flat front trousers. Suit is unaltered, without defects and the trousers are still unhemmed. This suit was purchased from a Ralph Lauren store, not an outlet, so it is a more current item then what is usually found on sites like ebay.
Finding a RLBL suit in solid navy, with notch lapels at this discount is rare. And with the discontinuation of the Black Line and raise in prices of the Anthony cut as part of the Purple Label going forward, finding one at this price will be even more difficult.
Measurements:
Chest (armpit to armpit): 19 inches
Shoulders (seam to seam): 18 inches
Sleeves (shoulder seam to end of cuff): 25 inches
Length (bottom of jacket to top of collar): 31 inches
