Ralph Lauren available in stores but not online?

I looked on the Ralph Lauren web-site before I went looking for the Velvet blazer I posted about in another thread and there was no velvet blazer listed. I went to the store anyway because they had one last year and sure enough there was black and navy, both on sale for 50% off (but still overpriced)

I'm wondering why this isn't listed on their site, or am I missing something.

The site and B&M stores are completely separate entities, and their merchandise does not completely overlap (sometimes, almost not at all).

When it comes to Black Label, especially, the B&M stores have much more variety than the online store. Prices at the B&M store also seem to fall more as the season progresses. Great deals are harder to find online.

This is the case for 99.9% of retailers.
