Those Conistons look awesome. Fortunately, I already own the Coniston in dark brown scotch grain. Otherwise, I would have been forced to order those cordovan Conistons...Coniston too..

In the context of $1250 US retail price for regular cordovan Harlechs, the $1450 for the Anniversary Coniston with lasted trees is about what's expected.

Where can you get a new pair Alden shoes in cordovan for $400 or less?I'm gonna say I think Crockett and Jones over prices for cordovan, when you can find Aldens, which are comparable quality, for 400 less.
Honestly, part of the reason I'd buy Crockett and Jones over Aldens is that I think their calf skin is nicer. There isn't really that much difference in cordovan quality from what I've seen.
