It’s been over 2 years since my last C&J purchase (my wife thought 13 pairs was more than enough) but I’ve finally gone back in with the Molton and I love these!

I’m a big fan of C&J chukkas (& owner of a few) and had toyed with the Brecon, but for a more casual but still stylish looking boot, these are perfect. And a good roomy fit from my first few wears View attachment 1681381

I find this shade of suede to be quite dull. It isn’t dark enough to be rich, but not light or vivid enough to be interesting. Missed opportunity, in my opinion.

It’s a shame. The Coniston is an iconic boot. Would have loved to see a camel or fawn suede model.
