Question about Tod's boots. Fake?

I'm confused. I ordered a paid of Tod's Boots on Yoox. I've orders LOTS of stuff from yoox and there was never a question of authenticity...which is why i'm not sure what to think about these. However, I find these boots to be a bit suspect. I called Yoox, and they assured me that all of their merchandise is authentic. The problems I have are these:

They arrived in a plain white box without a dust bag.

The logo on the back of the boot, above the heal seems to be a bit off. It's not as well embossed (if that's the correct word) as logos I've seen on other styles of the boots. The letters on mine don't seem to be as well defined. Here's a link to similar boots at Saks where you can see a logo (you'll have to zoom in to see it.) http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/incl...RTMENT<>ast_id=1408474395222441&bmUID=jfqz9YU

There is some frayed stitching on the top of the boot.

The logo on the sole doesn't seem to be as well-embossed as other's I have seen.

I looked at every other pair of shoes that I have and they all say "made in italy" somewhere inside the shoe. These do not. However, I have another older pair of Tod's (that I know are authentic) that don't say "made in italy" Hmmm.

However, the leather seems to be on point. It feels and looks nice...inside and out. The logo that's embossed on the leather near the laces looks good. Aside from the small fray on the top of the boot, all the stitching seems to be right.

I'm confused. Real or fake? Below are pics. Thanks!

Real. Congratulations. Enjoy. I seriously doubt Yoox will carry fakes.
The frayed edges can be burned off with a cigarette lighter...carefully (meaning quickly).
Welcome to Styleforum.

I am sorry to say but those look authentic, not my cup of tea.

Tod's has become lately one of those brands where 99% of their budget goes to advertisement and 1% to building a quality product...

Another Prada, Gucci, LV, Hermes and the like...

Thanks for the replies. Good to hear. I understand that they're not going to be as perfect as a pair bespoke John Lobbs. I think that's a pretty obvious assumption. Thanks for pointing it out, though, anginaprinzmetal. It's just that the logos don't look as detailed as any other pair of Tod's I've seen. To be honest, they're not my ideal pair of boots either. Just needed something in the $300 range which which I could schlep around in the snow and not be concerned about every puddle....wanted brown, wanted rubber sole, wanted a little tread. These seemed to fit the bill for my purposes. So, I'll probably keep them.
