I know very little about boots. I received a pair of 1000 mile boots and thought the leather soles were a bit slippery. I originally wanted Pekin Shoes to do the resole but they aren't doing mail orders presently. I sent them to a west coast cobbler and got them back yesterday. I had Vibram mini lugs put on and was expecting to see stitching through the soles - but there are non visible. Plenty of glue on the heel and rest of sole though. It seems like I've seen pictures of 1000 mile resoles- was I wrong to expect to see stitching through the soles?
