PSA Club Monaco Raw Jeans for $30

I just got back from the Club Monaco store near me. They are having a sale of 50% off already reduced items. I got an oxford shirt for $10.xx including tax. The jeans would have been $25, but none were the size and fit that I would buy. I think it's definitely worth taking a look if you are good with Club Monaco fit and style, especially if you take a larger size.

There was no 30% off of sale items here in my area. But I could stack my student discount on them.

SCP store said I could stack the discount on sales. The sales section in the bag is mostly cleared out.

Digging some of the newer stuff. Some of the workshirts and Ivy League sweaters. There's a shawl collar fleece sweater with collegiate stripes on the sleeve cuffs that looked pretty sweet. I'd bite once that stuff hits at least 30% discount (+ 20% student discount).

In Canada, there's the occasional sale to clear inventory (hence my sale thread - see sig), maybe around 30%. They sometimes do those 50% off weekend flash sales. We just had one but it's over now. (I'm still basically proxing these pants but now that I'm only getting student discount instead of 50% off it's almost breakeven.)

I've tried stacking student discounts but they never let me... would've been epic though. 70% off? I'd buy everything I could find.

never bought anything at CM before, i'll give it a shot...

so 20% discount for students + a supposed 30% off right now on sale items (as of 3/11/2010) right?

I took a measuring tape to the size small of the fireman's jacket:

pit-pit: 20.5"
shoulder-shoulder: 17.5"
shoulder-sleeve: 25.75"
boc-hem: 29.75"

No inside pockets, but there are side-entrance pockets behind the visible pockets on the outside, which are convenient to put your hands into. Definitely not winter-weight. I don't think it's worth the $249 retail, but I could see myself buying this at sale time.

Yeah, but the sale might be over by now. Club Monaco, J Crew, BR, Gap,.. have a different sale every other week.
