I recently ordered 2 shirts from 2 different sellers. The authenticity of both are questionable. The only things I have to compare them to are my 2 pairs of PRPS jeans. One of the biggest things that seem wrong is the country of origin. I know that the jeans are "Made in Japan" but does anyone know about the shirts? In making this post I was hoping to find someone that actually owns a t-shirt or any shirt at all by PRPS so I could compare. Here's a link to a photoalbum with many pics of tags and logos: http://s259.photobucket.com/albums/hh298/prpssh1/ I sent an email to PRPS but wasn't sure of where else to turn for help. I know this isn't a main brand for these forums but I figured I'd give it a try. My thoughts are as follows... Things that didn't seem right about shirt1(angel t-shirt): 1. "MADE IN TURKEY" on the tag indicating the size 2. When compared to my others, the attached paper tag was smaller, and lacked information such as the website, "TRADE MARK US PATENT OFFICE", a purple border, and it wasn't crinkled as much 3. The neck logo tag is only sewn to the shirt on the right and left sides (the back logo on the jeans are attached using the top, bottom, left, and right sides) 4. In looking at pictures of other shirts online, I noticed that the all had the logo at the bottom of the shirt on the RIGHT hand side (logo of person with some sort of staff). This shirt's is on the bottom LEFT hand side. And in shirt2(long sleeve striped): 1. The logo neck tag says Portugal, the size tag says "MADE IN PORTUGAL", and the paper tag and lower shirt tag say "Lisbon, Portugal" 2. Like before, the attached paper tag was smaller, and lacked information such as the website, "TRADE MARK US PATENT OFFICE", a purple border, and it wasn't crinkled as much 3. The tag that denotes the shirt size is made of a different, cheaper looking material. 4. The paper tag and the neck tag show the flag of Portugal instead of Japan. I thought that it was possible that some of their non-denim clothing was made in another country. The details on the angel t shirt are nice. I could believe the angel shirt was legit because I know it's definitely an older model and perhaps they've changed their designs. The striped, long-sleeve shirt screams fake to me. The Portugal and the changing of their logo seemed really odd to me. Hopefully someone else that reads this will have a shirt. Some of these pictures are really terrible for comparing, but it's all I could find. http://www.bergdorfgoodman.com/store...13523cat213526 http://www.fpr302.com/blog/302/2006/...jeans_tee.html http://store.soliscompany.com/prmesimatinl.html I was trying to get some other input before I contact the seller and online store. Any feedback is helpful. Thanks!
