Proper Lounge Attire?

Hey guys, I'm going to a lounge this weekend and I was wondering what the proper attire was? The dress code states "no runners, headgear, baggywear".. I obviously know what the last two mean, but what is implied when they say "no runners"?

Do Air Forces & Adidas Superstars go under the consideration of runners?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you're going to a lounge, you should probably wear a leisure suit. Something in a nice velour.

So can anyone recommend some shoes to wear to a lounge?? The place is pretty casual so I intend on wearing jeans but I'm not sure what type of shoes can go well with jeans.

Your request is very vague. You give no price range. Check the Streetwear and Denim forum.

Off the top of my head I would recommend these:
