The portrait looks like it could be a screenshot of a movie.

I'm in the carribean on vacation, the picks I've made so far would be even more boring than what I post normally. But I found out that the small crabs at the beach like to eat Pretzel, now I have my new aim what I want to photograph ;-)

Thanks guys :)!

Messed around in PS to give my friend a vampire look. I don't know if I like it or not, but I really wish the skin was different... I tried to make it almost sparkly like the twilight effect almost, but I had to settle with this effect. If I find out how I'll definitely re-edit and post it again.

...and then normal ones, I made the borders smaller though. I guess the huge borders was a bit overkill.

Not a big fan of the raster-overlay on the skin - would rather see the pic without it.

Tonight was bonfire night! Not 100% happy with this shot, but it was the best of the bunch and I think the composition works well enough - it's just that I would've liked to see all fireworks sharp rather than just the purple blast. On the other hand, your eyes do get drawn to it and there's not much distraction from it. Anyway, first time shooting fireworks, learnt a lot!

krp- i actually like your use of huge top and bottom borders. it seems like you are already increasing contrast slightly. If you also decrease saturation, it would make your pictures seem more "cinematic", especially when you are using your 1.2.

Yeah, I agree. I need to go and re-edit the photo cause I was trying to get the effect of the vampire in Twilight.

Btw, nice fireworks! Really not bad for a first time! Never shot fireworks, but I would really love to one day.

Thanks! That is exactly the feel I was going for. I am actually inspired by the guy below but haven't found the appropriate settings yet. Still working on it :nodding:!

^Love AoF Amazing amazing pictures. Really like your portraits and your portfolio!

Andd OH MY GOD Protest the hero?!?!?!?!? Wtf... dude you're my idol haha.

Edit: Holy ****. You have some insane photos. Not to mention I love how you have shot every band I know of in addition to the really big name ones I don't like.

Thanks so much man. I have known the Alexisonfire guys for quite a few years now. I actually photographed George's wedding as well as went on their final tour before they broke up officially. I also know the guys in Protest The Hero pretty well too. That rules that you are into those bands.

Actually Wade who is in the first picture there was in Alexisonfire and now hes the lead singer of Gallows which is pretty cool if you are into those bands.
