Can we please put the timestamps back into X minutes ago mode? Having to read the time and then look up at the time isn't doing it for me.

I much prefer precise times to the old 3 hours ago, or even worse 1 week ago post timestamps; when TF was that exactly?

Have been toying with the idea of asking J to transpose alcoholic measurements instead of time measurements for some members.

Connemara for instance, would have posted two pints and a shot ago.

J's last post was 1.5 six packs ago.

etc.

I prefer Google style hybrid stamps. Casual "x time units ago" for up to a day, then normal time stamps after that.

The precise timestamps are nice, but I think perhaps the nice is outweighed by the inefficiency -- If I'm say, in MC, and scan over the first thing I read is Today, and I'm like, yeah....this being the main forum I kinda knew that. And when you do that for twenty, a hundered or so posts... With fence-sitters and standers on eitehr side, I wonder if it is a CP-able feature? Regards, Huntsman

I'm a fan on the "X minutes ago". I keep thinking these are old posts when I see the precise timestamps.
