I inherited this piece from my Grandfather, it's awesome. It's a so called Pie-pan.

The Muller is nice but there is ONE issue; why the **** does the dial say "PLATINUM ROTOR"? Wouldn't it be easier to just keep the price tag on it?

Cpt Obvious-texts on dials is a real dealbreaker to me - and somehow the Saxonians are experts...

Lovely watch, but even Helen Keller would have noticed that there is a panodate and a moonphase.

Or working in a fashion buying office for over a year.

I feel like a mosquito in a nudist colony. I know what to do I just don't know where to start.

I have a small collection of Pie Pan Constellations. It is a fantastic watch and yours is a very nice example. It looks to be the original dial which is in very good condition. It is hard for me to tell from the photo -- are parts of the dial silvery or mirrored? Some were made that way and some were not. I also like the shape of the markers.

Benrus isn't a highly collectable name, but they did have some very nice Swiss movements.

It is 'better' in the sense that an inexpensive peak lapel dinner jacket with Allen Edmonds opera pumps is more correct at a black tie event than a bespoke vicuña sport coat worn with bespoke Russian reindeer brogues shoes.

Complicated watches are often too big, mostly too thick, and always too busy to qualify as classical dress watches.

Thank you Sator and Teacher.

Here for both of you is my digicam pic of a page from an old Swiss watch industry book.
