Robbie you are gaining weight.

The jeans look good though. Id go for a more subtle cuff.

Jean archeology - Sasson from the 80's *. I got them back from the tailor who replaced the zipper and reinforced the crotch area. Got them hand washed and dried outside since yesterday:

Sorry for the blurry picture but I thought the button was worth a picture:

* Obviously they haven't been used for several years when my waist was 40''.

The Albam jeans look great. I believe these are the regular legs. Did you size down?
Thought about getting a pair the other day.

Sorahiko's worn since 2006, the last couple of years almost everyday. Color is pretty close although there's more of a green hue to it not captured on camera.

did you wash frequently? I'd assume with a jean 4 + years old you'd have slightly more pronounced combs. The whiskers look great, and I'm guessing the jeans are even more impressive IRL.

Yup, they were washed quite frequently the last few years, but sparingly when I first got them. As for the lack of combs, the old Sorahiko's were definitely a full legged jean and weren't even close to hugging my legs like other brands/fits. They could be considered overtly baggy compared to all the slim cuts popular today.
