That's actually the wrong bambino.

I was more interested in this one:

Might just save up and get the Tissot Visodate.

Haha yeah, that part actually really irks me as well. I bet it's something I'd forget about soon after.

I would imagine the Orient Star would have better finishing as well as the superior movement.

Leaning to the tissot visodate a bit. I'm not really sure I like their logo, but it looks pretty good. Almost twice the cost of the star though :/

Why did they ruin the hands?

:/

The markers are awesome, but the hands are the worst retro ones they could have picked. And it still says water resist. The dials are cool. Nice job with the colors.

The moon phase is freaking gorgeous. I wonder how much that will sell for. I loled at the face on the Sun and moon though. Such dorky smiles.

I didn't catch the hands til you mentioned it. The rose gold is nice. Wonder if the old hands can easily be obtained and swapped in?

Does Orient make a moon phase watch? JLC is the moon phase I will buy one day (hopefully near future).

I have this watch. I can't recommend it highly enough. The one thing I don't like in terms of those Orients is they're a bit on the large side (for me) to be considered a dress watch. I think even this Tissot is pushing it, but the lugs curve down around the wrist and it looks nice and sleek. I know the Bambino does as well, but it's also 1mm larger than the Visodate I was considering a Bambino on a black strap as a secondary dress watch, but I think it's too big for me. The Star would be better as a dress watch without the power reserve, and ideally, no date and a small seconds dial I'm still looking for another option.
