Pinstripe Grey Blazer, Cream Pants...

Can a grey pinstripe (flannel) blazer be paired with cream colored pants? I am throwing in a blue (not quite royal) shirt.

Just curious. I would add pics but I don't have a camera (stone age).

Seems very Cucinelli-esque...I think it could be pulled off if done correctly.

What shade of grey and what type of stripes?

I can see it working with most grey's, but the stripes play a more important part.

Swap the blue shirt out for a white one, leave 2 buttons undone, add a white linen PS stuffed casually, add a khaki with 3x navy stripe canvas belt and tobacco suede chukkas for the full Cucinelli treatment.

I'm going to do exactly this in the spring, with 3 days of beard stubble. Would you do sunglasses or hat? If hat, describe please.
