Park Avenue Black Shell Cordovan or Park Avenue Cap Toe for Job Interview?

Gentlemen,

First and foremost thank you all for all the style advice on here! For someone who has no style this site has been a game changer for me to better myself. Recently I acquired two pairs of Allen Edmonds Park Avenues: The regular calf skin one and the black shell cordovan. Both are in good shape, could get the regular ones shined/buffed a little.

For upcoming interviews which one should I wear? I'm applying for senior analyst roles at large F500 companies and want to make sure the Cordovan's aren't to flashy/shinny? My rationale is I will reserve the Cordovans for formal/important events (interviews, weddings, important meetings) and the regular park avenues as part of my weekly work rotation of shoes to wear. Any feedback or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!

I personally only like shell cordovan on work boots, tassel loafers, and penny loafers. Partly because of convention (the material has been traditionally used for those styles) and partly because I think the material looks too rugged for something as dressy as an oxford.

Would keep the calfskin ones and sell the others.
