Hey guys, My Timex watch was recently stolen and I'm looking to replace it. Could I get your opinion on either: http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-LOOK-NEW...#ht_2471wt_905 or http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-TIMEX-MI...#ht_1899wt_905 or http://www.amazon.com/Timex-T20041-R...8994238&sr=1-3 I don't even remember what mine looked like to be honest. I think it was one of these 3. Also, don't worry about the color of the bands, I think I have like 3-4 of them. I just need your opinion on the actual face of the watch. thanks!

Don't get ahead of yourself, Timex are either thrown away or lost.

Just to comment on the bands:
1) Looks like a "4th of July" watch.
2) Going camping? You can get the same look for $10
3) Hands down the most versatile.
The fact that it's the cheapest is the icing on the cake.

^Somebody who wants a watch or is looking for quick cash. A Rolex will net you thousands, sure, but a Timex might get you enough for a bottle of cheap booze, and won't arouse a whole lot of suspicion at the pawn shop. And there are a lot more of 'em around.

I like the first best if we're not taking the band into account BTW.

Go to your local Walmart and you'll find all those in stock at a price less than you shown (factoring in shipping, etc.). Personally, I only like the third.

I have a number of watches, but the ones noticed seem to be the Timex Expedition or Luminox ones. The better ones always seem to slip into looking similar to one another (Tags, Oris, etc.). Maybe it is because the noticing is more a comment like "WTF are you wearing that damn olive green Timex with a navy suit and tie?".

I should have posted this in the jeans and denim forum...

This would be by ultra beater watch btw. I'm talking like surfing, camping, outside work... but I sometimes find myself wearing my Timex going to Starbucks for some reason...

Oh... and it was stolen from my unlocked gym locker with my wallet when I turned my back for 2 mins...
