I recently joined this forum. But I have been reading some posts for awhile. I am looking at a pair of boots at barneys. The brand is Officine Creative. Has anyone heard of this brand before and know the quality of their shoes. Please let me know. Help much appreciated

welcome.

I purchased a pair and they were they wrong size for me...however they were a nicer boot with good quality and were on the narrow side.

Do you know if they run true to size? I usually wear a 9 to 9&1/2. If they are on the narrow side, do you recommend order a size up. Thanks

They are not, in my experience, well made. They are glued onto the sole, and have a tendency to come unglued. Others have noticed that they're not waterproof. I can't recommend them.

The shoes themselves get scuff marks really easily. Only having worn these twice through normal wear and tear I've developed scratches on the front deep enough to show the white layer underneath (no idea what the white is)

thanks for the replies. I am going to look into those boots with a second thought. I was browsing gimmeshoes.com and saw a brand called Brandt 1764. Has anyone heard of this brand before?
