Saw Dune II . . . pretty good if a bit simplistic. But the last 60 seconds really **** the bed. Totally destroyed Chani as a true ride or die. And did the books dirty.

Watched Crimes of the Future last night. It's Cronenberg for better and for worse, lots of the biomechanical stuff you saw in Existenz, and also the surrogation of sex for mutilation/violence like in Crash. Good performances all around, great visuals. 3,5/5
