Apparently this sweater is free... Got all the way to billing before I just said ******* I don't need another sweater even for the $20 shipping to the US.

For those in the Baltimore area, Samuel Parker on Falls Road has all winter merch between %30 and %40 off.

He has cashmere from Hawick, Polo and Pringles. Suits and sport coats from Polo (Blue lable), Hickey Freeman, and Samuelsohn plus pocket squares and ties from Drakes.

I picked up a Hawick cashmere sweater (%30 off) and Drakes madder tie (%40 off)

Not in canada, in usa. never ordered from our northern friends, so 20$ shipping plus VAT makes me sad.

Retailers don't charge duties -- the border services of your country of residence does. Retailers may mark down the value of the package to help lower the duties your country charges, but they're really not supposed to (I mean, it's illegal).

Word, i just talked to nomad and got a similar take.
Sale price + vat + shipping is still cheaper than any other site so ill prob roll the dice and see what the border service does.

I never really understood how some of you guys ask retailers to do something illegal. Sometimes, places I've ordered from have done it, sometimes they haven't; I've never asked or assumed they'd do it.

Anyway, us Canadians get the ****** end of the stick a lot of times when it comes to clothing, so don't be too sad about your Nomad purchase.

If you had to pay 25% VAT, plus tax and fedex/dhl/ups handling duties on top of that you'd be asking sellers to mark down too
