are you sure its a 40-41R? shoulder of 17.5 for seems pretty small...

Yeah....I messed up a tad there. A member here Pmed me saying that this coat should fit someone more in the range of a 38. I, however am a 42R and the coat fit me fine except the sleeves were a tad bit short. That's where I got te 40-41. I'd go by the measurements though and not a # size.
