Gorgeous indeed.
If I hadn't been busily expending all my savings on shoes lately, I'd snap it up!

how much tailor work would get this to a 42? Is it even possible?

Thanks

I imagine anything's possible - do you know your measurements?
How off are this suit's from yours?

jjgold...

check out one jacket that fits you right and see if the shoulders measurements match.

The shoulders are the hardest modification to get right.

Also in many cases sizing down a jacket will leave you with big armholes, wide sleeves.

You effectively can not make a 44 to a 42, and is not worth the huge expense. Why butcher this beautiful suit?

First and last reduction...
If it doesn't sell soon, I will just return it - odd - it's a gorgeous suit...
