That's curious- I would be very grateful for that picture and some others of the loafer.

Would you say it is tan in colour? Or C&J's traditional "Chestnut", which is a reddy brown I suppose. Hard to discern from the pictures.

Saw that Herring has a pair of Black Tenby's on their site in my size on clearance for ~320 quid after VAT, hopefully the factory store will have a pair of these since I can score a further discount.

Could you point to where this is on Herring's site?

They are under clearance, and my size is 10.5 G. Not sure what other sizes they have though, but I love the look of this shoe. The Church's factory store didn't have any when I was there in March, but I got a nice pair of Tobacco Gunthorpes (same as avatar, but with rubber sole) instead.

Good haul. From what I can see in the photo I think the loafers are my favourite.

Did you get a taxi to Barkers? If so what did it cost?

I would say it's tan rather than C&J's traditional "Chestnut".

Here's some pics I took with the iPhone:

Thanks. Decided against taking a taxi after being advised it would cost at least 30 quid.

From Greyfriars Bus Station, I took a bus (X4 maybe? can't recall exactly) that dropped me right on the edge of Earls Barton. From there I walked around 20+ mins to Barker. It helped that Google Maps on my iPhone was working. It's quite a walk so I wouldn't recommend it unless you're as determined as me to go to Barker
