I have one and I could not be more pleased. I had the alterations done by Joe Caluti at Rizzo Tailor here in Cambridge, MA (he's a bespoke tailor) and he had nothing but good things to say about the cut, construction and the fabric.

Website design aside (and I could care less what his pages look like) I would highly recommend the Isaia tux and I have found Pete (the seller) to be very easy to work with.

Best,
SM

Just be careful - I bought one and it came with notch lapels instead of peak lapels. He then put the one with peak lapels that he was supposed to send to me back up for auction and refused to give me an exchange and would only offer a refund.

If you get the right one, then it's a great bargain.

Classic piece. A tuxedo purchase seems extravagant at first, so a lot of people are hesitant to buy. But it pays off in the long run -- even a cheap tux costs $100 to rent these days, and they're just absolute disasters. This is a really good price.

I bought this same tux from Nitr-o. I love it. Do a search on here to find a very long thread on this subject.

I totally agree... If you wear a tux once or twice a year, and are not constanly changing sizes and shapes, then it is worthwhile. I had one made not so long ago, and economically it has already paid for itself, not to mention the sartorial benefits, not having to wear someone elses clothes, and not having to get up in a hungover state to return it to the rental place the next day
