Hi, wasn't sure where to post this general question. anyways, this past week I had a poor experience with an overseas merchant/website. I have made purchases from the vendor in the past and they had always been extremely satisfactory. This time, however, when I received the PayPal email receipt, it indicated a US dollar price that was $66 more than what the merchant indicated on their website and in the receipt I got. I have tried to contact the merchant three times via email, but have received no response. I contacted PayPal and they said I need to deal with the merchant. I went to the website and now see they have higher US prices for the items I bought. So now I understand where the issue is (they made mistake entering initial price on website), but am I wrong to feel mislead and deserving of some sort of reply or explanation from the merchant?

I think it is cool to feel this way. However, I don' think it is worth your while to be upset over this. You may want to ask yourself if the new price is few dollar more. Do you have more options in the market? Is the product is no longer worth the new price? If you are "NO"s on both, then you will just have to bite the bullet and pay the price and enjoy your whatever you've bought. If it is not worth it anymore, then just go to the next best option next time when you need to buy again.
