New Wardrobe Shirts and Shorts Help

Hi,

I need a new wardrobe both professional and casual. I already got a new made to measure suit from Suit Supply, but I need some shirts to go with it.

I also need to get some cassual shorts and casual shirts for the summer. I want to get 100% linen made to measure shirts and 100% linen shorts of the shelf. I need advice on where to get these as well as style fashion like solid colors or plaid shirts.

For the dress shirts I can get made to measure at Suit Supply starting at $150. I can also get dress shirts from Proper Cloth, perhaps for less.

For the casual shirts I can order them made to measure from Proper Cloth online or from Suit Supply with an appointment. Proper Cloth has 100% linen shirts now, but they are plaid.

For the 100% linen shorts I only found shorts at J. Crew and probably will fit them fine without needing made to measure as trousers tend to fit much better.

Can anybody help me with finding where to get shorts and dress and casual shirts with cost and fashion advice?

Also, the linen shirts from Proper Cloth are long sleeve. Should I go with long sleeves and long trousers out of linen for really hot summer? That might work because linen is so cool and it would look better than short sleeves and trousers. I don't know.

Thank You

What do you mean by short trousers.....no break? Short sleeves aren't necessary with linen...even linen/cotton blends wear very cool.

Oh, good. I wanted to know if short sleeves were necessary for linen shirts because I've never had linen shirt before. Is the same true with trousers?

I was asking about shorts, so I edited my post to say shorts.

I need some suggestions for shirts though and maybe the kind of look, like more vs. less casual. I think the best polo's that seem to fit my proportions are Armani Exchange from my past searching. I just tried J.Crew and Bonobos. The Bonobos seemed to be the right size with x-small slim fit, but the proportions were off I think and it just looked really up tight on me. I have small shoulders, but my shoulders are bigger than my waist, so I think I do better with a tailored tapered shirt. The J.Crew x-small seemed too big in the shoulders for me.

I found out I can get made to measure linen casual shirts from suit supply for $225, but it takes 4 weeks and is a lot of money. I'm trying to find out what would fit me well.

Any suggestions on a summer look from a place that would fit me well? I wear size 28 waist and often the waist runs bigger than it says so I wear a belt. For shirts I'm about 34 inch chest so wear x-small.

I just found about Zara and they sell a lot of linen it looks like. I should probably check them out.

Summer shoe advice would also be helpful. Right now I'm wearing some vans so they don't look like gym sneakers. I'm a size 5.5 so need places that sell that or maybe size 6.

I'm also wondering about short/long sleeve polo shirts vs. button down. I'm looking for linen polo. I'm considering all options.
