So - the 'i santi' wallet that I bought at some airport shop to replace a falling-apart freebie IBM one (have no idea where I got that but it was a really nice wallet BTW - the IBM logo was only embossed on the inside) has started to fray. Tis time for a new one. But - which one? I don't know if it's as a consequence of reading Styleforums, but there have been these brands which have been sitting in the back of my mind, but it's only recently that I've actually started buying them. So although I've patronised Swaine Adeney Brigg for the longest time for my much-battered luggage and treated myself to an occasional Boateng suit, it's only recently that I've taken a headlong leap into the likes of Brioni, Valextra, Lobb (the 'real' Lobb) et al. However I still can't really justify spending ginormous amounts on something that - ironically perhaps - will hold my money. The most is probably one of the better Dunhills or indeed something from SAB, but even then it's kind of borderline. I don't mind spending ginormous amounts though on something that's genuinely innovative and/or indestructible. I'll usually carry around 20 notes at most, four cards and a couple of other card-like items. I don't keep/collect a lot of detritus - and apart from the cards themselves definitely do not keep personally identifiable info. Fairly minimalist in other words. Suggestions please.
